Children's Portraits
I love kids! In fact, I was one once! (ok, bad joke!) My children are 10 and 12 now, and I'm so glad that I took the time to create heirloom portraits of them growing up. Camera phones have sure helped us with the convenience of taking pictures while we're "out and about", but there is still nothing like a professionally created portrait that is displayed on your family room wall for years and years...

One of the best things about children is their fleeting sense of wonder, and I love to capture that. When possible, I let the kids play and explore. Sometimes you capture a moment quickly, and sometimes it can take a while - but I'm determined to catch it!

"Initially, we were given Neil Gates Photography name and information through my son's orthodontist. Upon the removal of his braces, we were given a complimentary 8x10 portrait of our son. We were so impressed with Neil. He was so accommodating and wanted to make sure that the weather, lighting and everything was just right. We really liked how we had the opportunity to come to his studio to choose the proofs of our son we liked. Neil had them displayed on the wall, all the different poses and sizes. We had such a difficult time deciding which one to take, so we ended up choosing two poses!
